To expand our team we are looking for a dedicated Linux IT System Administrator (m/f/d) with immediate effect.

Job description

• Managing and developing the company's internal IP network at all levels.
• Contact person for the team for all network related topics
• Planning, implementing and operating internal and external infrastructures, mostly based on Linux servers *Working on customer projects
• Managing our contract customers' servers, and connecting and integrating our components together with the customer
• Setting up and administering cluster environments at our and our customers' sites
• Taking responsibility for the installation and maintenance of server, client hardware as well as software products
• Lifecycle management of software products
• Providing support in IT service and support
• Maintaining related documentation and optimizing operational processes

Your qualifications

• Completed studies in the field of computer science or successfully completed IT professional training, e.g. as an IT specialist, or comparable professional experience.
• Expertise in the area of network infrastructure
• Sound experience with Linux systems and virtualization
• Ideally, experience in operating a complex infrastructure and implementing solutions
• If you have additional experience in any of the following topics, we'd be happy if you specified this in your application: Icinga, Saltstack, Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, IP routing, VPN (site to site; IPSec; OpenVPN), DNS management, SQL databases.
• Willingness to learn complex environments and topics.
• Independent, goal- and result-oriented way of working.
• Reliability and personal commitment
• Team player with good German and basic English skills
