Girls' Day - We joined in again!
On April 3, we once again welcomed six girls with a passion for technology to our company as part of Girls' Day.
After a warm welcome from our CEO, we got straight into the first block: the girls got to know our robot colleague Aribot, learned how to control it and were able to try out what they had learned in practice.
After a tasty pizza break, the girls were motivated for the second block. Here, the girls got creative themselves and created intents with question-and-answer pairs that interested them. From badminton to dog breeds to information about Heidelberg, from planets to the formation of water and fire to podcasts - everything was included. A voicebot was then built and they were able to call it directly and get answers to their questions.
Days like this always show us how much curiosity and creativity is in young minds. Technology is not just a “man's thing” - and the more girls experience at an early age how exciting the world of robotics, AI & Co. is, the more self-evident their place becomes in this world .
Girls' Day is a great opportunity for us to show girls how exciting and varied technology professions are - and maybe we met one or two future developers! We would like to thank all the participants and look forward to the next time!
